ABOUT TREF AWARDS

The TREF Awards is a recognition from the The Real Estate Forum to companies that have excelled in the Indian real estate market, representing excellence and innovation in the sector with projects that are benchmarks in their categories.
TERMS & CONDITIONS
  1. Award categories and titles are subject to change without notice.
  2. Submitting an entry form does not guarantee nomination. Nominees will be shortlisted on the basis of
    Performance data as supplied in the entry form.
  3. The final evaluation will be done by aTREF GRAND JURY which comprises of the most respected industry experts,
    analysts and observers.
  4. The Jury members evaluate only on information contained in the entry form and not on any other information /
    perception / judgment, hence please fill in the form carefully
  5. Any attempt to canvas for selection could lead to disqualification. Nominees must not contact Jury members or
    organizers in this regard.
  6. All information in the entry form is mandatory. If any information is not provided, it will directly impact the
    overall ranking and rating by the Jury.
  7. All nominees specifically agree that by participating in these awards, they are confirming that they will use:
    A: The authorized and complete description of the award as mentioned on the first page in any public
    communication related to these awards.
    B: Specific template of TREF logo, ribbon & trophy provided by IMAGES Group.
  8. Entries with factually incorrect or misleading information may be deemed invalid.
  9. All nominees specifically confirm that the information they submit is accurate and true, and that it may be used for internal research & Industry insights unless otherwise specified.
  10. Every entry form must be attested by a person at the level of Director / CEO / Proprietor.
  11. Jury and the organizers have the right to decide on the final categories to be awarded, renaming the titles,
    clubbing the categories and moving nominations to a category other than the category originally filed in –
    wherever required.
  12. Minimum 3 valid nominations are required per category, else the award may be withheld and same will be
    communicated to participants.

CATEGORIES

1. Real Estate Professional of the Year

To recognize CXO, Founder or equivalent Individual of a real estate organization who has created an impact within the industry segment at various stages of his/her career. The applicant should have at least 15 years of experience within the industry.

Developers competing in this category should nominate a residential project in the Premium Segment, characterized by meticulously designed interior and exterior spaces, alongside a nurturing environment tailored for its residents’ well-being

Developers competing in this category should present office development projects that showcase excellence in conceptualization, development, and execution, while effectively attracting premier corporate brands to establish a vibrant and diverse tenant ecosystem.

Hotel Developers competing in this category should have delivered hospitality projects or project designs that are socially and environmentally responsible. This category includes hotels, restaurants and resorts. The project must have a minimum of 40 rooms.

Developers competing in this category should nominate a residential project in the Luxury / Ultra Luxury Segment, characterized by meticulously designed interior and exterior spaces, alongside a nurturing environment tailored for its residents’ well-being.

Developers competing in this category should nominate a residential project centered around a distinctive theme, a design project that seamlessly integrates aesthetics, functionality, and innovation, setting new standards in the field of architectural excellence.

Developers competing in this category should nominate a retail project that should exemplify excellence across conceptualization, development, and execution stages, while also boasting a successful track record of attracting prestigious high-end retail brands, thus fostering a dynamic and diverse tenant mix. 

Data Center Developers competing in this category should have delivered a data center project that has exceptional design and construction, with innovative new technologies used and novel engineering, design and construction strategies deployed throughout the build process.

Warehousing / Logistics Park Developers competing in this category must showcase projects with exceptional design, construction, and innovative technologies. Success demands pioneering engineering and construction strategies throughout the build process.

Companies operating in the real estate market that stood out with projects with notable ESG attributes (environment, social impact, and governance excellence) compete in this category.

Proptech Companies competing in this category should present the best solutions for the real estate market, applicable to any of the stages: market research, land acquisition, project, construction, management, and operation.

The main transactions – purchase and sale of assets – in negotiated volume and estimated average cap rate involving Indian real estate projects compete in this category.

The developer should showcase exemplary leadership and innovation in designing and developing properties – residential or commercial. Eligibility requires each nominee to submit details of 3-5 projects adhering to guidelines, with verified RERA numbers, commencement certificates, and ongoing construction work.

The participating companies should demonstrate a robust commitment to Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), addressing pertinent social, environmental, or economic challenges within the community. Their initiatives, undertaken between 01/04/2023 to 31/03/2024, should exhibit tangible results and a genuine dedication to making a positive impact.

A project that is designed and developed with a combination of commercial inclusions including Office Building/ Retail/ Hotel/ Recreational Clubs, others. The project could be either based on one building or a combination of multiple buildings.

A project designed and developed for Government and Civic use with excellence in design and architecture for institutional complexes, encompassing firehouses, police stations, embassies, consulates, courthouses, and structures serving as hubs for government functions and meetings.

To recognize a marketing campaign that was implemented through product launches, conferences, and events, etc. aligned with a certain objective with accounted results.

To recognize a technology enabled project that was implemented through innovative use of technology in design development or management.

TREF 100 will be a highly prestigious of rigorously selected real estate developers to recognize outstanding performance across any asset class. Showcasing their best works in a coffee table book, if qualified, the TREF100 Rankings will become a great resource for banks, investors & occupiers.
